The largest Tesco store in the UK, Tesco Extra in Walkden, Manchester, covers a massive 185,500 sq ft, providing groceries, clothing, gadgets and home goods to name but a few. It is also the most sustainable with its plastic bags recycling center and giving away unsold food to the charities in town. (Source)
Known as the largest Tesco in the UK, it doesn’t disappoint. The store is massive whilst also housing a massive F&F, a Greggs, Cafe, VisionExpress, Holland&Barrett, Tesco Mobile, Deli and so much more. The variety of products is endless and the store itself is incredibly clean. The aisles are endless and also very wide leaving space for customers on the busiest of days. They also have a bulk buy aisle which is useful for saving money on groceries people will always need. Plenty of checkouts and the staff seemed friendly. No problems at all. Will be coming again.

Love the scan and go as you shop much easier if you have mobility issues, also have mobility carts too. Also have quick check outs section for mobility scooters to go through. Just an easier way to shop for everybody.

Excellent large store with undercover parking and excellent cafe. If there is something you want, you will find it here. One of the larger Tesco stores in the area and well worth a visit.

While purchasing a bottle of Maker’s Mark whiskey at the self-checkout, a staff member was positioned directly behind me, watching as I scanned my ID and completed the transaction. While I understand the need to verify ID, this felt somewhat uncomfortable due to the close proximity and continuous observation.
After I had paid and placed the bottle in my personal backpack, the same staff member reached directly into my bag without asking, removed the bottle, and proceeded to take off the electronic seal before handing it back to me. While I appreciate that security measures are in place for alcohol, this approach felt intrusive. A simple request or even a quick explanation before taking the bottle from my personal belongings would have made the interaction more respectful and comfortable.
I’m providing this feedback in hopes that it can assist with improving the overall customer experience, ensuring that staff handle security procedures with clear communication and courtesy.

Costa as a part of the meal deal has been marketed deviously. Either large cups or syruped cups are not included.
Scratch that, the employees were clueless about the reason my meal deal wasn’t working and one of them was rude enough to ask me why I was so greedy. Love the language I got as a customer. No ethics and no knowledge of their system either. Great going.

My family & I called into the Tesco Bicester store Cafe around 5pm today, cold and hungry having travelled all day from a hot Salerno, Italy. The gentleman on duty was so lovely and rustled up wonderful hot tasty sausages, chicken nuggets, baked beans, chips, vegetables etc (some items we don’t usually eat). We had them to take away, they were so good I just had to say ‘Thank you’ ! Thank you also to the young lady on the hot drinks, fabulous 👌 👏🏻. The rest of our long journey is that much easier 😀

Overall, the biggest Tesco stores in the UK are the best thing you can shop at, with loads of products from groceries to electronics, home goods, and more. These enormous locations are created to meet all shopping needs and to provide ease and quality with each and every visit. However, if you are in the mood for stocking up on essentials or exploring new items then Tesco flagship stores are still a staple for shoppers in search of both value and variety.
