Absolutely perfect experience here at Woolworths. Was shopping with my son who was looking forward to getting some twiggy sticks but we unfortunately arrived as the deli was closing. A worker called Orlando made sure however to get my son the twiggy sticks he was looking forward to even though it was very awkward timing. Put a smile on both our faces and twiggy sticks in his stomach

Great supermarket in the city, clean and huge with wide aisles that are well stocked. Lots of convenient food options as well as staples. We did not try the sushi which looked nice, but there are so many better choices elsewhere in the area (even right outside this woolies) that is priced better and that is made fresh. I guess it is good if you are doing a one stop shop or if you want sushi later in the evening when other shops are closed. The bread and pastries are all fresh and nice. The check out area is huge. We counted 48 checkout counters in total! Most are self serve (as usual). When you enter from street level, there is a door next to the entrance that shows “Woolworths and big w”. If you enter and take the escalators downstairs, it saves you a lot of trouble of having to walk through the QV centre to find a different escalators that take you to the supermarket. There is also a big W next door which is handy for the cbd.

My local Woolworths, been coming here for a long time the service is okay but some of the times the employees can be a tad bit rude, I am however liking the new set up of the Woolworths it’s much more organised however not well stocked, can’t always find my zero cokes & there’s never any chives in stock sometimes my soy crisps to, only thing I recommend to the store is that they stock better, also can be quite expensive for only a few things but all grocery shops in Australia are expensive unfortunately, overall the store is okay it’s in a good area with local cafes & the lovely market near it just needs to be better stocked so I don’t have to go to Coles. 🌽🥕🫑
