Largest Ross Dress for Less Locations in Florida

I recently visited this clothing store in Orlando, and it’s now one of my favorite spots for finding unique and thoughtful gifts. The selection of wallets for men is impressive, with a variety of styles and high-quality materials that make for perfect gifts. For women, the store carries a beautiful range of accessories, including scarves, jewelry, and handbags. In addition to their clothing and accessories, they also offer an excellent selection of affordable luggage. I was pleasantly surprised by how durable and stylish the luggage options were, especially for the price. It’s a great one-stop shop for anyone preparing for a trip or looking for a last-minute gift. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the overall shopping experience even better. Highly recommend!

They have decided to place alarms on everything and they keep going off nonstop, all over the store. Piercing, loud, infuriating sirens coming from everywhere at once and all employees just ignore it. I can’t think, less alone shop! It’s awful. And they just told us the bathrooms are out of order. Right, all of them.

I had by far one of the worst experiences in this specific store with the night shift manager, they had a perfume (in a case) tagged and exhibited in the rack selling with two different prices $4,99 and $19,99 and they decided to charge me the highest rate, when I claimed she said she couldn’t allow me to have the product with the fair lower price because supposedly it was “a mistake” and she conveniently took the product and refused to sell it. They are misleading with the products and they just say “sorry” but don’t honor the prices as many other stores and refuse to sell the items at the tagged price.

The place is very well organized, a unique atmosphere, most of the time they welcome you, but I don’t know what customer service is like, but if you include it, this Ross deserves 5 stars.

I went to the self checkout, it was jammed up like somebody started and quit. So I asked the girl at the kiosk for help, she said I’ll be there in a minute and walked off. She was not helping another customer, I wasn’t sure what she was doing, but no one else was using the one next to me so I stepped over to it and proceeded to do my check out.

I was buying sunglasses that have security nodes on them so I tried to remove them and they would not come off at the checkout, so I look over at the kiosk and the girl was back and I asked her for help again. She says finish paying for it and then come see me. So I finished paying for it and I stepped up to her kiosk and she turned and walked away, saying over her shoulder that she’d be back in a minute. Again she was not going to help another customer, and by this time I was getting a little frustrated.

That was the third time I asked for help and so I proceeded to remove the security nodes off the glasses myself. Keep in mind I have paid for them, I have asked for help three times now and she is too busy, or unwilling, so I did it myself.

When she sees me doing it myself she runs back over proceeds to berate me and tell me how rude I am being for doing it myself. I explained I had other people waiting for me and I had asked for help several times and she was too busy to help, so I just did it myself. She called her manager over told her manager I had removed the tags myself. I explained to the manager that I had asked for help three times and she was too busy and I figured out how to do it myself.

The manager did not say anything as she proceeded to take the security node off the other pair of glasses for me. At no time did anyone apologize or make any effort to de-escalate the situation. When I asked for her name so I could file a complaint, they refuse to give me her name.

I had treated her with courtesy and respect, saying excuse me Miss can you please help me. When she said she’d be there in a minute I said okay thank you. When she didn’t come back I didn’t yell at her. I asked her nicely the second time, I asked her nicely the third time. In no way did I invite this kind of treatment from her.

I left feeling offended and incredibly disappointed in a store that I have loved and shopped at for over 30 years. I think my days of shopping at Ross are over. And that makes me sad.

We frequent this store a lot. It’s usually hit or miss when it comes to having new products. Recently, they have had a lot of new merchandise to sell for the holiday season.

Their associates are usually nice. Unfortunately, the lines can get really long on occasion. I would have rated this place higher but on our last visit we used the restroom and we were not impressed. First off, you smell it before you see it. It looked run down and not well maintained at all. I’d recommend using the restroom at home before coming here.

Also, I’ve recently noticed that they have been blocking the back of the store with racks of products that they are trying to push out on the floor. That’s great that they are attempting to restock the floor but they shouldn’t block the pathways. It also blocks people from shopping in that area of the store.

**Update** came back to this store again after few months and STILL SLOWEST CHECKOUT ROSS IN FLORIDA as far as I know.

The slowest clerks seem to work here. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you want to waste your afternoon in the line.
