South Carolina’s Largest Ross Dress for Less

The girl working the register at 1pm today with braids was very unprofessional. She rang up and bagged my things. When I took the bags out of the cart to leave I noticed a tag still on my belt hanging out of the bag with my pillows. I went back up to her to get the tagged removed and she said she never had that belt, so I got out my receipt to check and she said it wasn’t going to be on there bc I never gave it to her before. She obviously missed it and it was attached to the pillow set some how, but instead of saying she must have missed it when she was the one who bagged it up and handed it to me to leave, she acted like I was trying to steal it. I could have walked out if I wanted to steal, i bought a bunch of stuff & felt very offended by the way she spoke to me about HER mistake that I caught and came back to fix.

My daughter and I went in today and it was deplorable. Absolutely horrendous. Clothes were all over the floor. And I don’t mean a piece here or there, clothes were everywhere!! Clothing also thrown on top of the clothing racks and sizes not in the correct area. It was very difficult to shop in such a mess

Shopped for over a hour only had about 10 items in cart. Checkout line had about 5 people in it and only 1 cashier while 2 other employees were standing in front of door watching the 1 worker check people out while doing nothing I went to self checkout started scanning while I was doing so the one of the worthless watcher workers told me self checkout was only for 8 items or less and that I couldn’t use self checkout only 2 items over literally was trying to do the worthless workers job for them and was told I couldn’t checkout so I informed her that instead of standing there she could do her job and check me out then but she said no! Obviously she would actually have to do something so I pushed the cart over to her and said here’s you something to do go out this stuff back on the shelf and I left she won’t be there long Just a waste of space

Great customer service. I needed help with finding an item and the Store Mgr Natasha was friendly and helpful. She took her time looking up the item in the system and showed me exactly where it was. This is the best store in Myrtle Beach. I just moved to area and this will be my go to store! For sure!

Always good buys but as with the last 5 Ross I have reviewed, no hand sanitizing station when you enter store. And an additional surprise..no soap in the ladies bathroom. The commercials say” The pandemic is over but Covid isn’t” I was told the man that fills the soap dispenser was gone for the day. There will not be soap until Tomorrow. But there is soap for sale on store shelf. And this is Senior Tuesday. Seniors are a high risk group for Covid with complications. Very disappointed in one of my favorite merchants.

Store was clean and well organized. I was shopping for a dress for an upcoming wedding. They had a wide selection available and the prices were great. I got the perfect dress for $11.76 including tax! And it is a dress I can wear for many occasions. I will be doing more clothes shopping at Ross!

I shopped in this Ross recently and found that it’s like most all other stores right now. Just not enough good help/employees to make it a good experience. You have to really search to find your correct size in clothing and sometimes the sizes are not in the right place. But when you do find something you like, it’s nice to be able to try it on in their dressing room. They do have good prices and sometimes you can find a great deal on a name brand product. The shelves in the other departments are a little unorganized. Getting checked out is not always a pleasant experience. You usually have to wait in a long line for 1, or 2 cashiers if you’re lucky, while another 1-2 employees stand around pretending to work. I’m a patient person and think it’s worth the trouble to find a good deal, so I’ll give this store a 4 star rating.
