Honestly pick any other store, I don’t know if this Russian lady was a manager or what but she needs to work on her tone loved coming in aggressive by calling me a liar after a employee told me the restrooms where in the fitting rooms, she said there’s no one who told me that that she didn’t have any employees like that, that I was lying showed her the employee she walked away didn’t say a thing not even a apology, I understand not having public restrooms and maybe a new employee having incorrect information but lady no need to attack customers like that

Tons of transits and thieves here so there’s more than usual loss prevention employees here. The store needs some serious fixing up. Instead of replacing the door in the dressing room they have a curtain up but most of the hooks to hang the clothes up are gone. The worst part here are the long lines. There’s never enough cashiers. I’ve been here a few times and they don’t have enough cashiers so lines get really long.

Great shopping experience in and out around 5:30pm today! On today’s find I found the exact bottoms I needed for a blouse that I bought a month ago! My intuition definitely kicked in today 🔥

I feel like this ross was a bit overpriced. It was very busy and full of people, it took forever to get to where you were going. The line to check out took was a 23 minute wait. The employee’s seemed like they did not wanna be there and were not very friendly or helpful. They did have a great variety of stuff so that’s why I gave them 3 ⭐.

Everyone is helpful but I wish they stock items here often every time they have very few items not organized. They moved the fitting room to the front. Only two rooms there will be a big line to try on any clothes.

I came into this store on 7/2/24 between 9:30am and 10:15pm. I was enjoying my shopping experience until the Cashier referred to me as a Sir. I told her I’m a women but she was adamant about her opinion. I was born female and don’t feel like I have to show my birth certificate to prove so. Furthermore, my gender has nothing to do with my shopping experience. I feel like Irma (I got the name off her badge) should be educated that Black folk have different features and we should not be judged or deemed as masculine simply because our features differ from hers. I will be taking this complaint to corporate.

Top Tips for Shopping at Ross Dress for Less in Phoenix, AZ
Best Times to Shop: Shop early mornings (8-9 AM) to beat both crowds and the Phoenix heat. Tuesdays and Wednesdays typically feature fresh inventory, while weekend mornings are surprisingly quiet. Avoid late afternoons when locals hit the stores after work, especially at popular locations like Desert Sky and Christown Spectrum!
Finding Hidden Deals: The clearance sections, marked by red tags, are your treasure trove – usually tucked at the back of departments. The designer section up front often has incredible finds from high-end brands. Phoenix stores, particularly in Scottsdale areas, frequently receive premium merchandise. Don’t skip the home department’s bottom shelves – that’s where the best bargains hide!
Store Strategy: Each Phoenix location carries different stock – try stores in Paradise Valley and Tempe for upscale finds. During summer, early morning shopping means better-organized racks and cooler temperatures. The shoe section gets messy by afternoon, so shop this area first. Bring your own shopping bag for easier browsing!
Sales and Markdowns: While Ross doesn’t do traditional sales, they mark down items throughout the week. Extra colored stickers on price tags mean deeper discounts. Holiday weekends bring fresh inventory, but also bigger crowds. Building rapport with staff can help you learn about restocking schedules!
Shopping Smart: Use the air-conditioned stores as summer shopping havens, but arrive early for best selection. Check end-of-season items for deepest discounts – winter items get marked down heavily in our warm climate. Fitting rooms get busy during lunch hours and after 4 PM, so plan accordingly!
Local Pro Tips: Phoenix stores often get resort wear year-round due to our climate. The Scottsdale and North Phoenix locations typically stock more designer items. Unlike other retailers, Ross doesn’t offer online shopping or an app, so in-store shopping is your only option – make it count with strategic timing and store choice!
