We stopped at this Walmart to buy Cowboy gear before the game. Tons of options and fairly priced. Go early on game day because it does get busy.

In the fishing area they did not attend to me. I waited more than an hour even though I asked the supervisors three times that I needed to renew my license and they would send someone to attend to me. They never gave any help, very poor service.

We went to change the oil and apparently they are a business that is selling cars. They passed me by, I don’t know what the reason was. It was unprofessional, there was no courtesy. I don’t know. I think they are not trained for that service.

STRIKE ONE: I arrived to get an oil change. I was told that they were closing in 10-15 minutes and they wouldn’t be able to fit me in before it was time to shut everything down.
STRIKE TWO: As you check out they heard you through like cattle to approach registers. Supposedly there is an employee gravitating around who directs people to open registers and applies assistance. I waited in line for about 8-10 minutes and made my way to the front of the line. All by myself with no assistance, I noticed the two self checkouts at the very end had been open and free. The gravitational assistant failed to direct people that way causing longer wait times.
STRIKE THREE: I had several items and one was a bathroom cleaner. I rang all of my items but noticed the cleaner was not ringing at the price that was posted. I pointed this out to a floating assistant and they said that the scanned price was the right one. I make it a point to take photos of everything I purchase because I hate walking to the area to double check. I showed her my photo and she said that it was a different product. I told her that was the product above the price and I’d be back. I walked back to the cleaning aisle. Took another photo of the wrongly priced items and walked back to the register. I get there and my screen is blank. I get the assistant’s attention to address the problem. She said I took too long. Then told me to walk over to a register with a person checking out that already had a line. I didn’t want to wait an additional 10-15 minutes so I rescanned the nine items I had.
YOU’RE OUT!!!: How can Walmart stay open conducting business like this?
The stockers place items in the wrong area which shows how attention to detailed they are.
The customers are lied to in the process thinking the product they are grabbing is a specific price. The register attendants won’t correct a price that a fellow employee was too lazy to stock in the right space.
The automotive service department is more worried about clocking out on time rather than wanting more money from an oil change. With 10-15 minutes before clocking out, an experienced mechanic should be able to do an oil change in that time. Plus the books that tell you what products are right to do your own repairs have torn, missing or shredded pages.
That’s ok Walmart. Eventually you will go in the same direction as KMart, Service Merchandise, Circuit City, Food Lion, Safeway and many others. Customers will eventually stop giving you money.

If I could give customers service quarter of a star i would. So I brought some small coco Mellon fabric, it was a small vandal worth $7 and some change and Fiskars blades. I did not get the RUDE LADY name. ( its Saturday 27, 2024 @ 5:10pm) anyways the lady looks at me then looks at my items an says i can’t return these with out receipt. Now mind you I was not trying to get any money back. Just wanted to exchange it for some different fabric an smaller blades. She told me no. So i asked for manager. Manager comes and I see she has the same attitude as the cashier. Does not even look or scan my items an says yeah we need a receipt. I asked why? She said it’s store policy. I asked her what did y’all make that up? Clear she lying cause the lady before me returned like 3 or 4 things of yarn, no receipt an got store credit however the customer was a African American lady and so was the cashier, I’m a Hispanic guy and I was told no crafts need a receipt store policy. Then why did the customer before me get to return her crafts but I can’t? These of the type of people that are being hired to do customer service and their being races. This is not good. Ohhh BTW I went to a different Walmart and was able to return with no problem and when I asked about the policy, the Walmart customer service lady says that’s the other Walmart was lying to me that she just did not want to return it. I’m so disappointed.

I feel like I’m a criminal shopping here almost exclusively self check out the cameras watching you the employee standing over you and the receipt checks is a bit much I get it if I had larger items or items not in a bag but it was tissue. I would rather spend my money at Target Update 8/13 /24 why would you sale after taping up a bag of dog food
