I am an avid Dollar Tree shopper. I’ve shopped at many Dollar Tree stores from California to Atlanta and this is the cleanest Dollar Tree store I’ve been to in all my Dollar Tree visits. CeeCee was very kind, very generous she greeted me as I walked in and the other shoppers. I was looking for scissors and glue and she led me straight to them. She assisted the other customers as well and each time she said Let me know if there is anything else I can. Wow. What a blessing to find employees who are willing to assist. Thank you Dollar Tree and thank you Cee Cee. Ms. Synetha. Keep doing what you do. You’re a true gem.

In other news, the bathroom was not remotely clean, although the parking lot is decent. Lots of parking, but to be fair that isn’t their doing.

This particular location is one of the worst Dollar Trees I’ve been in. The store shelves were barely stocked, so bad I asked if they were going out of business. At least the employees seemed nice but overworked. They either need to get it together or close this location! I went in for several items I normally purchase from other Dollar Trees and I was only able to get about 10 percent of the items! Parking is also hard because of the parking area that is shared with Wingstop and Pizza Patron( along with some other stores. I really don’t see how this location is still in business. I hate to see places close and people lose their jobs but this location needs a lot of help. I believe it could be successful in that area if it was stocked properly. After that I would recommend a ” face-lift” to update it’s look. With proper help from Corp it could be sustainable since it’s neighbors are popular food places. It’s right in the middle of the Greenville crowd, Hispanic crowd and the target demographic it’s supposed to serve.

I like this store because it has an Amazon Hub. I have stuff delivered here all the time. Once I approach, the system connects to my phone via Bluetooth. I press a button and the door opens. No codes, no wait. In and out in 1 minute.
Very convenient. And it’s minutes away from home. No porch pirates for me!

Ok, after reading other reviews I now know it isn’t just me. I didn’t get the manager’s name but he was very rude. I don’t know if it was because he actually had to do some work, foul mood or just doesn’t like people of color. My suggestion is gets a better attitude before he gets the right one to deal with him. Or the store just needs better management since it was in disarray. I will go to Mesquite from now on.

I came to this location at 4pm today Oct 3. When I opened the front door I could hear a woman shouting and I thought there might be some kind of fight or disturbance going on inside. I considered just leaving without setting foot in the place lest I get pulled into some altercation. However, Im an able male and will defend somebody getting hurt. Then I realized it was an employee yelling at a cashier. The lady yelling was standing half way up an isle and causing all customers to stop shopping and be staring at the scene in alarm. She kept repeating herself “this aint no walmart, this is a dolller tree” to the cashier, between other scolding and I realized this must be some kind of manager. Apparently, the cashier had not allowed a customer to butt in line and took the customers in order that they were waiting and the manager was scolding her. Now this cashier is actually trying to check out a customer while this manager is yelling at her from some 100ft away down an aisle. My thought is that this business does not know how to hire managers, because in my view employee correction should never happen in front of customers, but it is completely inappropriate to be yelling at an employee in public.
