We stopped at this Walmart to buy Cowboy gear before the game. Tons of options and fairly priced. Go early on game day because it does get busy.

In the fishing area they did not attend to me. I waited more than an hour even though I asked the supervisors three times that I needed to renew my license and they would send someone to attend to me. They never gave any help, very poor service.

We went to change the oil and apparently they are a business that is selling cars. They passed me by, I don’t know what the reason was. It was unprofessional, there was no courtesy. I don’t know. I think they are not trained for that service.

I was at the Woodforest National Bank making deposits for my work. They gave me problems making my deposits and I told them that my manager was not answering me. They did not give me any other solution than to bring an ID and I could not go back to my house which was 20 minutes away and come back because I would lose all my time. I was very sad to know that I had to go back to my house with all my deposits in hand. I always came here because I liked the service and I was always attended by a very polite gentleman. But this time one of them was even very rude to me when I was giving my explanation. You should hire people who have experience with customer service and who give you good services and good solutions.

I went in with my young son to buy 2 controllers. Specifically the ones pictured. We came for the price we found online, and walmart has always honored their price match policy. The red one was listed in store for $145 and the blue one was $65 in store.
When we finally found help, she wasn’t trained on the register and had to wait another 15 minutes as she could not complete our price match. Her relief finally arrived off break, and he was ALSO unable to complete the price match. He assured me the registers up front can help. We migrate to the front with our “escort” since we had such high profile items between 2 controllers and some cat litter.
The register lady said she can’t help. So I was again escorted by employees 40 feet to the customer service where I was then told by management “that’s the online price and doesn’t apply to items in store.” I’m fairly confident that’s illegal but what do I know.
It doesn’t matter because we got the same items for almost half price at Target (red $95, blue $40) and now we will shop there since common sense is still in practice.
TLDR: Target has nicer associates, nicer selections, and won’t screw you around or waste your time. Avoid this Walmart.

Now all self checkouts are 15 items or less when lines to the 3 manned registers have 5 to 6 people in each, and the self checkouts have numerous open spots! Very dissatisfied with Southside Walmart.
